Michał Żak was born in Poznań, Polan. He studied Philosophy at the Adam Mickiewicz University and trained as a graphic designer after moving to Berlin in 2008.
He worked for several years as an art director in the advertising industry, before becoming a freelance graphic designer and visual artist.
Since 2010, he has been working as a photographer and videographer, regularly collaborating on projects with musicians, artists, and theatres in Poland and Germany.
